Juhal Siby

Juhal is a well-qualified Data Scientist experienced in working with vast data sets to solve advanced business problems. Juhal has experience of working with Department of Agriculture, Water and Environment (DAWE) as a Data and Program officer. During his time at DAWE, Juhal worked with Air Quality Emission Standards section predicting the health benefits of Emission Standards and helped forecast levy collected from import of Non-Road and Marine engines. He also worked on a Waste Data Visualization project where he developed dashboards for reporting and monitoring purposes.

Prior to his position at DAWE, Juhal worked on a project with a Canadian company called Benefi, predicting employee tenure for financial purposes.

Juhal has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s degree in Data Science from RMIT University.

In his role at PHA, Juhal will provide project support to a number of key digital systems – AUSPestCheck™, the Pest and Disease Image Library (PaDIL) and the Australian Plant Pest Database (APPD).
