On Tuesday 15 September 2026, the Plant Health Australia (PHA) Board of Directors met in Orange, New South Wales (NSW) for Board Meeting 124 (BM 124).

The Board received a number of updates and progress reports to support oversight and discussion on several key strategic, financial, operational, compliance and people matters, including:

• PHA’s compliance with obligations under the Emergency Plant Pest Response Deed (ERPPD) management and key EPPRD activities and outcomes
• PHA’s cybersecurity strategies and digital systems updates,
• the annual training report
• the annual People and Culture report
• internal financial, governance, and ICT policy updates.

During the meeting the Board:

• received a presentation from Dr Lisa Szabo and Dr Chris Anderson of NSW Department of Primary Industries (NSW DPI) on biosecurity and food safety
• resolved to hold the 26^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of PHA and requested the Company Secretary give notice to PHA Members.

The next meeting of the Board will be BM 125 on Thursday 26 November 2026 in Canberra (ACT).
