Biosecurity Online Training
Boosting biosecurity readiness
Our Biosecurity Online Training (BOLT) platform provides plant biosecurity related eLearning courses.
We are moving BOLT to a new hosting platform from 1 July 2026. The new platform will provide a more modern and user-friendly online training experience to support Australia’s plant biosecurity system now and into the future.
This transition will strengthen PHA’s ability to deliver online training, support national preparedness activities, and respond effectively to both routine training needs and periods of increased demand.
What you need to do
- Log in to BOLT to check your course status: pha.canopihr.com.au/auth/login/
- Complete all in-progress courses by 30 June 2026 to allow time for records to finalise.
- Download any certificates and training records you may require for compliance, employment or professional development.
- Save copies of your records to your own device or system
To help you prepare for the transition, we’ve answered some of the most common questions about course completion, training records, account access and key dates below.
If you require further assistance, please contact the PHA Training team at BOLT@phau.com.au.

PHA is moving to a new platform to better support current and future training needs over the long term. The platform provides a more modern and user friendly online learning experience.
The new platform will provide improved usability, better performance across devices and browsers, and greater reliability. It also better supports both routine training delivery and periods of increased demand, such as during emergency plant pest responses.
The current BOLT platform will close on 30 June 2026 and will not be accessible after this date. The new platform will be available from 1 July 2026.
All in-progress courses must be completed by 30 June 2026 and certificates downloaded or your records will be lost.
Incomplete courses will not transfer to the new platform and progress will be lost after the current platform closes.
Yes. You should download all certificates and training records you may require before 30 June 2026. Records not downloaded before this date cannot be retrieved later, with limited exceptions for the Biosecurity for Beekeepers course.
PHA will retain the past three years of records for the Biosecurity for Beekeepers course. All other course records and certificates will not be accessible after the current BOLT platform closes.
More details on the new platform will be shared in the coming weeks.
Keep an eye on the PHA website, our social media channels, or subscribe to our monthly e-newsletter, Tendrils, for more updates.
