Australia’s national biosecurity training hub is growing
Biosecurity is crucial to protect Australia’s agriculture, food security, and environment. The National Biosecurity Training Hub launched in December 2023 continues to expand, now offering over 70 online and in-person courses for industry, government, and the public.
With a new streamlined submission process, training providers can easily submit courses via an online form. Once approved, courses are instantly featured on the Hub, helping expand the platform’s reach and impact.
The Hub has recently added six Emergency Animal Disease (EAD) Response modules from the New South Wales Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, offering quick, targeted training for key areas of EAD response.
Developed by Plant Health Australia (PHA), the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, Agriculture Victoria, New South Wales Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, and Animal Health Australia (AHA), the Hub remains Australia’s central platform for biosecurity training. Visit the Hub to explore courses or submit your own.
