Join us for the virtual Annual Diagnostics and Surveillance Workshop (ADSW) 2024
Following the success of the member-only hybrid workshops held in March this year, The Plant Surveillance Network Australasia-Pacific (PSNAP) and National Plant Biosecurity Diagnostic Network (NPBDN) are delighted to announce this year’s Virtual Annual Diagnostics and Surveillance Workshop (ADSW) 2024, which will take place Wednesday, 5 June 2024, from 11:00am AEST.
The virtual event will feature presentations from thought leaders and experts from across the spectrum of plant biosecurity, who will share their knowledge and experiences in the plant diagnostic and surveillance space.
More details on the program and invited speakers will be released in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for updates by visiting psnap.net.au or npbdn.net.au.
Note that attendance at the workshop is exclusive to PSNAP and NPBDN members. To join either of the networks, you must be an active plant surveillance practitioner or diagnostician employed by a government agency, research institution, commercial laboratory, or museum. Visit psnap.net.au or npbdn.net.au to find out if you are eligible.
The National Plant Biosecurity Diagnostic and Surveillance Professional Development and Protocols Projects are coordinated and delivered by Plant Health Australia and funded by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. The objectives of the Projects are to enhance and strengthen Australia’s diagnostic and surveillance capacity and capability to identify priority plant pests that impact on plant industries, the environment, and the community.
