Ankita joined PHA as a Project Officer in the Partnerships team, supporting the Bee Biosecurity and Surveillance programs.

Ankita holds a Bachelor of Science, majoring in sustainability studies and earth science, as well as a Bachelor of Design from ANU. Previously, she worked at the Office of the Commissioner for Sustainability and the Environment as a Youth Advisor, contributing to the State of the Environment websites for learners and youth, and reporting on climate adaptation strategies in Australia. In her free time she worked as an Outreach Officer at the Canberra Environment Centre, and as a Peer Educator at the ANU Kitchen Garden.
