Mark joins Plant Health Australia as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), bringing extensive executive experience across the healthcare, veterinary and natural resource management sectors. He has held senior roles in financial and operational management and has served as a company director, providing strong governance and strategic oversight.

Mark has previously worked with NQ Dry Tropics in Townsville and the Australian Indigenous Doctors’ Association, where he developed deep expertise in supporting membership‑based organisations. He is highly experienced in administering, managing and acquitting government deeds, grants and service contracts, ensuring robust financial stewardship and compliance.

As CFO, Mark is responsible for leading PHA’s financial management, reporting and compliance functions. He brings a strong focus on contemporary financial practice and continuous improvement, emphasising the use of modern systems, automation, and robust controls to support transparency, timely reporting, and informed decision‑making for members, partners, and stakeholders.
