Lorissa is PHA’s Coordinator, Marketing and Communications, supporting internal and external communications across digital channels, website content, social media, newsletters, reporting and stakeholder-focused campaigns.

She has more than 20 years’ experience in government communication, digital engagement and biosecurity-related projects, including roles with the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries and Biosecurity Queensland.

Her background spans social media strategy, digital project delivery, training content and platforms, behaviour change campaigns and biosecurity response communications.

Lorissa enjoys turning complex information into clear, practical communication that helps people understand biosecurity risks, take action and connect with PHA’s work.
