Plant Health Australia (PHA) has achieved formal registration with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), a milestone that reinforces our role as a trusted, purpose-driven organisation.

The registration, enhances PHA’s credibility and accountability, enabling the organisation to display the Tick of Charity Registration, which is a recognised symbol of transparency and trust.

ACNC registration also provides access to important benefits, including:

  • income tax exemption for PHA as an organisation
  • fringe benefits tax rebate eligibility
  • access to potential new grants and funding, strengthening the organisation’s ability to deliver programs that support Australia’s biosecurity system
  • reduced regulatory burden, streamlining compliance and reporting obligations.

The ACNC registration is another step forward in demonstrating the organisation’s commitment to excellence in governance and accountability. This reinforces PHA’s standing as a purpose-driven organisation dedicated to strengthening Australia’s plant biosecurity system.

The ACNC Tick demonstrates to our Members, partners and the public that PHA is transparent, accountable, and dedicated to delivering value for Australia’s national interest.
