PHA administers a range of digital systems integral to national plant biosecurity. We add value to data by collating information and analysing it to transform it into insight and intelligence that informs decision-making.
AusPestCheck® is our flagship digital system for surveillance data that brings data together from multiple organisations and stakeholders, with the purpose of collating and sharing that information, as well as visualising and mapping the data to demonstrate the coverage and extent of monitoring for different pests and diseases.
The Australian Plant Pest Database (APPD) is a national system that aggregates information aggregates information from digitised records of vouchered specimens of plant pests and pathogens within the sixteen major plant pest reference collections throughout Australia.
The Pest and Disease Image Library (PaDIL) is a repository of high-quality diagnostic images and tools for rapid taxonomic identification of plant pests and diseases.
The Biosecurity Portal integrates biosecurity activities, scientific capabilities and analysis across the biosecurity continuum, and provides ready access to information about; biosecurity surveillance, diagnostics, training, technical information, tools, national policies and strategies, and legislation to plant health professionals and stakeholders across government, industry and the community.
