Supporting the Board, our staff work to achieve outcomes for our members through implementation of the Strategic Plan and associated Annual Operational Plan.
Dr Andrew Jacobs
Andrew Jacobs is Chief Operating Officer at Plant SynBio Australia in Adelaide. He is an experienced Executive having worked in natural resource management and science and technology-based industries.
Andrew is past Chair of the Growers Chamber of the Australian Forestry Products Association, was a Director of the National Institute for Forest Products Innovation (Launceston) and BioConsortia (NZ). Andrew was an Executive member of the Growers Research Advisory Committee and past Chair of the Advisory Committee for the ARC Industrial Transformation Centre for Forest Value. Andrew is Chair of Tree Breeding Australia, has a PhD in molecular biology, an MBA and is a graduate of the AICD.
