Rebecca Powderly

PHA welcomes Rebecca Powderly, who joins us in the role of Project Officer, Biosecurity Planning and Implementation, based in the Deakin office.

Rebecca is originally from Sydney and studied a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biology at Macquarie University, before completing a Graduate Diploma in Agriculture and the Environment at the University of Sydney.

She has experience in a variety of industries including retail, management, and teaching and has recently worked as a horticulturalist and quality assurance officer on a table grape farm in Perth.

In her spare time Rebecca enjoys playing video games, escape rooms and spending time with friends (and their dogs). She has a passion for science and the environment and is excited to start her role in PHA.
