  • Found in Asia, Mauritius, Reunion, and the Americas
  • Eggs are small (<0.5 mm), light yellow to orange with distinct eye spots at maturity
  • Adults (2.5-3 mm long) are yellowish-brown, have grey legs and transparent wings with spots or longitudinal bands
  • Infested plants have curled leaves and twisted young shoots
  • Honeydew and sooty mould may be present
  • This psyllid can act as a vector for huanglongbing
  • Adults can move short distances by flight and be transported long distance on infested plant material
