Sarah Hilton joined PHA in February 2024 in role of Manager, Bee Biosecurity.

Sarah has extensive experience working with the Australian Government, state government and CSIRO, where she held several leadership positions in plant biosecurity. Recently, Sarah has delivered various projects as a freelance biosecurity contractor. These roles provided her with a broad knowledge of issues affecting agricultural industries, particularly relating to biosecurity, market access and food standards, and experience in delivering solutions focussed policies and programs.

Some of her career highlights include achieving national agreement of the inaugural National Priority Plant Pests and delivery of national preparedness plans.

Sarah joins PHA to focus on bee biosecurity projects and continue her passion for biosecurity. She loves getting out in nature, bird watching and gardening.
