Ashley grew up in Canberra and studied sociology, literature and medical anthropology at the Australian National University (ANU), completing a Master of Culture, Health and Medicine (Advanced) with commendation in 2017.

With a background in the arts, especially publishing and live music, Ashley has more recently begun to specialise in high-level administrative and executive support work.

Starting at the ANU Institute for Communication in Healthcare and followed by the ANU Network for Early-Career Teachers, Academics and Researchers, he has consciously developed his aptitude for improving and refining organisations’ ways of working into a profession.

As well as enjoying supporting people and organisations to work better together, Ashley is a keen cook and breadmaker, loves music and art, and spends his other spare time reading, swimming, camping and writing.
