Samantha has a Bachelor of Animal Science. Although not from a beekeeping background, she has a keen interest in biosecurity, beekeeping, production of queens, bee friendly plants and bees’ role in pollination. Her favourite native bee is the blue banded bee. Since commencing, Samantha has been involved in hive inspections on Kangaroo Island and in the South East and has been getting out and working with beekeepers around the state.
