Emily Sears is a passionate animal scientist with experience in leading national animal health surveillance and laboratory projects, with a focus on increasing early disease detection and supporting trade and market access. She enjoys working with stakeholders to improve animal health and biosecurity outcomes. Emily holds a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (Hons 1) and a Master of Science in Agriculture.
Emily will be working closely on the AUSPestCheck® Animal Health Surveillance Project, which has just begun an exciting new phase of development and engagement.
She will be joining the Digital Systems Team on a 12-month secondment from Animal Health Australia.
