Emma Meyers

Project Officer

Emma Meyers joined Plant Health Australia as a Project Officer in January 2018. She completed a Bachelor of Science (with honours) at the University of Queensland in 2010. She is currently completing a PhD thesis investigating the impacts of water stress on the tolerance of bread wheat to Fusarium crown rot disease.

Prior to working at PHA, Emma worked as a research assistant at the University of Queensland for a number of research teams, most notably in the cereal breeding and plant improvement areas. Her background is in genetics and plant pathology but she also has a keen interest in soil health. Emma will be working within the Emergency Response team and supporting the training team when required.
