Sophie Peterson
Program Manager – Emergency Plant Pest Response Deed
Dr Sophie Peterson was appointed Project Officer at PHA in August 2006 to assist with the EPPRD and Training Programs. Since then she has held the role of Senior Project Officer and was promoted to the role Program Manager of the Emergency Plant Pest Response Deed in October 2008.
Sophie has an Honours degree in Horticultural Science and a PhD on foliar fungi of New South Wales Waratah from the University of Sydney. Both her Honours and PhD research was conducted at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney.
