Jenna joined PHA in a graduate position as a Project Officer in January 2011.
Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, Jenna graduated in 2007 from The University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand with a BSc (Hons) in Genetics. Her Honours project was focused on defining the genetic basis of host-specific symbiotic nitrogen fixation in Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar trifolii.
Prior to joining PHA, Jenna was employed as a BREEDPLAN Consultant with the Agricultural Business Research Institute (ABRI) in Armidale, NSW. BREEDPLAN is a modern genetic evaluation system for beef cattle breeders. It offers bull breeders the potential to accelerate genetic progress in their herds and to provide objective information on stock that they sell to commercial breeders.
Initially, Jenna will be working on the 2010 National Plant Health Status Report. In the long-term she will be gaining experience in all aspects of the Company's operations.
