Ameera Yousiph will be working as a Project Officer with Stephen Dibley in the Training and Biosecurity Preparedness program. Ameera will be reviewing the 2011 National Plant Biosecurity Status Report, assisting with EPPRD training of PHA members, and maintaining PHA information systems.
Ameera has an honours degree in agriculture from the University of Sydney, and recently submitted a PhD thesis on the biology, diversity and origin of the snow pea wilt pathogen in Australia. Research for her thesis was done at the University of Sydney and the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney.
