Kathleen DeBoer

Project Officer

Kathleen completed a PhD at Monash University, where she examined the genetic regulation of alkaloid biosynthesis in Nicotiana plant species. Kathleen worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the CSIRO-UWA Plant Pathology and Crop Genomics Laboratory, where she examined the genetic mechanisms by which the fungal plant pathogen, Rhizoctonia solani causes disease in agricultural crops such as canola.  Her research experience includes molecular biology, genetics, cellular biology, biochemistry and plant pathology.
