Emily Lamberton

Project Officer

Emily Lamberton has an honours degree in Science in Agriculture from the University of Sydney, majoring in agronomy. Her honours investigated windrow burning, and its soil moisture impacts, as an option for farmers facing or looking to prevent herbicide resistance in western NSW.

Prior to working at PHA, Emily worked as a graduate and research officer at the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research within the Crop Improvement and Horticulture Programs. She supported programs and a number of research projects in scoping studies, field research, team workshops as well as mid-term and end of project reviews.

Emily has a keen interest in systems approaches and will be working with the Biosecurity Planning Coordinator on preparedness.
