Ellen Pope has worked with food and agribusinesses, within Queensland and nationally, along the entire supply chain, from paddock to plate, working mainly with horticulture, but also meat, seafood and processed products.
She has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food Technology obtained from the University of Queensland, and a Masters of Business Administration from QUT School of Business.
Her career covers working for government, industry, research providers and funders, as well as industry associations. She has worked in trade and investment facilitation, business development, marketing and communications, and technical food research and consulting, as well as strategy and policy development roles.
Ellen comes to PHA following recent stints at the Plant Biosecurity CRC, the Grains Research Development Corporation and the Canberra Business Chamber. Her work at PHA will be initially focused on managing the levies process.
